Nature's Guide to Healthy Weight Loss

Your ability to lose weight is really about your emotional relationship with foodThe kind of food you eat, the reason you eat the kind of foods you eat (comfort eating, food cravings or sticking to traditional foods that you know are fattening) can all add to weight problems. When you change the way you think about food ... your weight issues will also change.

For one thing, 'dieting' is associated with restriction, feelings of loss and hunger which is why so many diets fail. The first step to healthy weight loss is to forget the word diet. Instead of saying 'I'm going on a diet ... substitute it with 'I'm going to eat  healthier.'   Eating the correct foods is simply a gift to yourself.

Modern man's diet is loaded with foods that make us physically and emotionally sick. Instead of bursting with vitality, we are burdened with illness and disease.

Eating Healthier

As with any change, switching from unhealthy to healthy eating habits will seem awkward at first until you start to see and feel the amazing results of it all. The point is never to feel restricted or as if you are prohibited from eating whenever you want.

You may have a sweet tooth and need a daily fix of sugar from chocolate or ice cream. For many, this is where diets fail. Withdrawal symptoms generally occur in 90% of people who diet. They reach a breaking point where they have to give in to food cravings and gain weight.

Losing weight is about developing a healthy lifestyle with healthy natural foods

Substituting these fatty foods with sweet delicious fruits will often stop such cravings. Eating juicy mangoes, sweet potatoes, oranges and pomegranates are a great way to satisfy a sweet tooth without having to worry about the calories.

Losing weight successfully requires the ability to understand that
what is focally stimulating may be actually damaging to our bodies. What we enjoy psychologically about food i.e. taste, smell and texture is the only good thing there is about certain foods. Once inside our bodies, these foods begin the unhealthy  process of putting on excess weight and building up toxins. When you realise that some foods satisfy your senses but are toxic to your body, you will be ready to embrace a healthier way of eating.

The important thing is to eat as much as you want  by eliminating processed and junk foods and eating organic, living foods that are full of potent nutrients.  Junk  food is exactly what it says: filled with synthetic chemicals, artificial flavours and colourings that fill your body with toxins, pathogens and unsaturated fats. Losing weight successfully is about choosing foods  that will nurture your body back to health  and  fitness.
